I loved how this hotel was just a short walk from great spots like Sparks Marina Park which is only about 2.4 km away, plus there are tons of dining options like Tailgate Deli and Starbucks, both just a couple of steps away, making it perfect for weekend strolls and discovering local flavors; the room was spacious and clean with nice views, but the parking could be more convenient on chilly days.

The atmosphere felt overwhelmed by children, which detracted from the expected adult ambiance and limited access to the swimming pool. I had a blast exploring the amazing indoor pool and relaxing in the jacuzzi! The live entertainment was a vibrant bonus that kept the energy high. Plus, the staff was super friendly and made our stay extra special!

Initially given the wrong room configuration, leading to unnecessary hassle. Cleanliness was lacking—found hair in the bathtub, a dirty fridge, and dust everywhere. Requested housekeeping multiple times; response was slow. The pool area was impressive, well-kept, and kept the kids entertained. Arcade access offered a nostalgic touch with coin games. The front desk rep, Makayla, was a standout. management needs improvement, particularly during busy weekends. Ensuring rooms are clean and properly maintained should be a priority to meet guest expectations and enhance the experience.

Our room was very clean, had excellent shower pressure, and a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel's location right off I80 made it easy for us to continue our journey. Despite some noise from the freeway, the comfortable beds ensured a decent night's sleep.
Our room on the 5th floor showed signs of aging, with a running toilet and falling toilet paper holder. The noise from the pipes when our neighbor showered was unbearable, dampening our anniversary vacation vibes.

Let's start with the good stuff first. The bed was nice and cozy, and the pillows were comfortable. The room was clean upon arrival, and the air conditioning was already running, which was a relief after a long journey. the spa was up and working, providing a nice relaxation spot. Now, let's address the areas that could use some improvement. the lack of a smoking room despite my initial reservation request was disappointing. The interaction with the employee about this issue was quite unpleasant and could have been handled better. the room we were eventually assigned seemed to have been rushed through the cleaning process. We even had a rather awkward encounter with housekeeping unexpectedly walking in while I was in the shower, which was definitely not ideal. The overall cleanliness of the room left something to be desired, with dirty floors and a moldy shower. Another significant downside was the inconsistent service at the bar. The rude bartender we encountered made our experience less enjoyable, and hearing that others had similar encounters with him was disheartening. This negative interaction significantly affected our overall impression of the hotel. In terms of amenities, I was disappointed to find that some rooms lacked microwaves, which seems like a basic necessity for a comfortable stay.

Plenty of parking space available. Enjoyed a spacious and clean pool during the stay. The friendly staff and lack of crowds made for a relaxing atmosphere. Convenient location only a 10-minute drive from downtown.
Rooms were not properly cleaned, as remnants from previous guests were found. Limited dining options and difficulty making restaurant reservations.

i had an amazing time at nugget casino resort. the staff were so helpful and accommodating. the room we stayed in was clean, comfortable and spacious. the location was just right, away from the strip but not too far. the casino had everything we needed and we enjoyed good food at rosie's cafe. the slots were good to us and the cocktail waitresses were always courteous. definitely recommend nugget.
Nothing bad to say except the room door didn't latch. 🤷♀️

I chose Nugget Casino Resort for its convenient location near the Sparks Heritage Museum. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse menu at Rosie's Café, offering something for everyone.

The staff at the restaurant, housekeeping, and front desk were incredibly nice and friendly. Our room was clean and well-equipped, with a Keurig coffee maker as a nice touch.
The local punks hanging around the casino made us feel a little uncomfortable at times, and we encountered some issues with the elevators and taxi service during our stay.

the nugget casino resort is so convenient - right off the freeway, and close to the cavernous video parlor. the 21st floor room had amazing views and a comfy bed. the staff - especially kim at the front desk overnight - were super helpful and caring when i needed security.
Would definitely recommend.
